Overview

California’s Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, commonly known as Proposition 65, requires businesses to provide clear warnings when products may expose consumers to chemicals identified by the State of California as causing cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.

The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) maintains and enforces the Proposition 65 program and provides educational resources for both consumers and businesses.

Why This Warning Is Provided

VentureXplorer Inc. products are built using industrial-grade materials commonly found in recreational vehicles, construction assemblies, composite panels, insulation systems, and structural enclosures.

Certain materials used in these applications are listed by the State of California under Proposition 65. California law requires warnings regardless of exposure level, even when materials comply with federal safety standards or are present only in trace amounts.

Providing this warning does not mean that our products are unsafe or defective. It reflects California’s precautionary consumer-notification requirements.

These materials are widely used across the RV, construction, marine, and transportation industries.

Potential exposure, if any, is most likely during activities such as:

  • Installation or removal of components

  • Cutting, drilling, or modifying panels

  • Maintenance, servicing, or repair

  • Handling internal structural or insulation materials

Once installed and used as intended, exposure is generally minimal.
